One of my early big CBD failures was an over-expectation of sales. With a product that helps everybody, we thought we would instantly be selling across the world, but it didn’t quite work out like that.
I needed to take into account that each country has its own legislation, its own legal framework, its own language, its own political issues – and without considering these factors you’ll end up with an over-expectation of sales and potentially shortage of working capital. There is no one in the CBD sales chain who has been doing this for more than 5 years, so it becomes your responsibility to get international retailers and distributors on board, get them educated on CBD for their customers.
Selling CBD is unlike any other product, you need to learn legal frameworks and systems across different countries, and be patient with it.
Rule #1 be ambitious but realistic with your sales forecast and watch your overhead ❗️❗️❗️
